British Indy: What Happens Now?

?
  1. Full Brexit with "no EU deal" on the 29th March.

  2. Request Extension to article 50 to allow a general election and new negotiations.

  3. Request Extension to article 50 to allow cross party talks and a new deal to be put to EU.

  4. Request Extension to article 50 to allow a second referendum on 1. Remain in EU or 2. Full Brexit.

  5. Table a motion in parliament to Remain in EU WITHOUT a referendum.

  6. I don't know or I don't care anymore

Results are only viewable after voting.
  1. I'm not blaming you fin, the research was floored and I can guess why. I suspect the "the higher the immigrant population, the higher the Remain vote" was based on multi generational multi cultural migration such as London, Birmingham, Manchester type of higher migrants rather than genuine right here right now migrants.

  2. i guess you will come up with somthing more worthey.

  3. it wasnt about milk or honey. apparently it was all about medicine..

  4. Eventually we can get rid of the House of Commons because we will be under total control of the EU . :upyeah:

  5. I'd like to clear up this remainiac falsehood if I could.
This works on the premise that old people only voted to leave and the young only voted to stay, it also misses one key factor.

90% of those over 65 and legally able to vote, got off their arse and voted. Of the age group 18-24 and legally able to vote, only 64% got out of bed and voted.

As to what they voted for, 40% of the over 65'S voted to remain and 30% of the 18-24 voted to leave

So when numpties say, if we had a vote now the results would be different because many leavers would be dead, not only does it show the crass desperation and absence of morals of the remain side, but the people who they say dying would change the vote, could just be those 40% over 65 who voted to remain.

  7. DTM. :D

  8. What about all the folks who have had two years in which to grow older and wiser and would now change from Remainders to Leavers because they came to their senses?

I suspect these folk more than make up for the deceased Leave voters whom Remainders are so happy to see in the ground.

  11. Even dead people were voting against devolution? That should tell you something fin

  12. What do you really think the EU is? A fairy godmother or the wicked witch?
It isn't either of those things.

I've explained this until I'm blue in the face, but if you really want to see the world like a fairy story there is little I can do for you.

    You already have "control".
You decide on police numbers, taxation, investment in the NHS, social services, infrastructure projects. The EU decides none of this.
So what will change if we stay in? Nothing, just so long as you keep voting in the same incapables in your general election. Will the EU kiss it better? No.

What will change if we leave? Well, the economy will be worse off, so taxation will fall and there will be less money for schools, police, health blah blah blah.

You don't need a degree in economics to work that out.

Or you could dispute that you will be poorer post Brexit (though no argument of any strength has been put forward to suggest otherwise) and with your new-found riches you'll have piles of police resources, fully funded hospitals and an education system at the top of the world tree.
    Are you feeling lucky?

  16. Haven't the EU used the money we give them, to give grants to companies to relocate from the UK to other EU countries?

  17. I didn't need a video, I simply checked the brexit vote figures for those areas I quoted, the ethnic breakdown and ...having lived in those areas also. How is your view from Switzerland :D

  18. Positives of staying in the EU:

Stronger collaboration with other police services on transnational crime
Stronger collaboration with anti-terror services in Europe
Continued investment in the poorer areas of the UK (EU grants)
Farmers kept afloat thanks to EU subsidies
Guaranteed markets for UK farm exports (lamb, fish etc)
Biodiversity increases thanks to EU efforts to promote hedgerow planting etc
Increased collaboration with scientists on research projects and inclusion of British scientists on European projects. Increased knowledge flow
Seamless trade across borders making it easy to source European goods and export British goods
Cheaper EU goods such as wines, olives, veg etc etc
Reduced carbon footprint as perishable goods more likely to come from EU rather than other continents
Easy to live abroad if that's what you want to do
Easy to buy a house abroad
    Easy to travel abroad
No need for extra health insurance travelling in EU
Reduced mobile phone bills when in EU compared to not being in EU
Fraternisation with a range of Europeans, increasing understanding.
UK chosen as location for major employers eg car manufacturers, plane manufacturers etc thanks to EU membership
Protection from large economic powerhouses such as the US and China in trade negotiations
A voice in shaping the destiny of the European continent
Contributing to the welfare of the continent as a whole, increasing understanding and maintaining peace.
    A stronger economy

... off the top of my head in as much time as it took to type the list. There will be others I have missed.

  19. why is that? the vote had been promised for around 90years, at the last minuet they( labour) introduced a super majority amendment to the bill. then they didnt update the electoral register for quite some time. so, dead people, or people that had moved away ect where counted as a No vote. the reff was won by the Yes side by around 53% but was lost because the party of home rules amendment.
this didnt happen in the EU. it was done by the mofo of Parliments
