  1. Full Brexit with "no EU deal" on the 29th March.

  2. Request Extension to article 50 to allow a general election and new negotiations.

  3. Request Extension to article 50 to allow cross party talks and a new deal to be put to EU.

  4. Request Extension to article 50 to allow a second referendum on 1. Remain in EU or 2. Full Brexit.

  5. Table a motion in parliament to Remain in EU WITHOUT a referendum.

  6. I don't know or I don't care anymore

  1. No, although we have been through this before I am happy to help again. The snp considers Scotland an eu country, you're not, you are part of an eu country.

However you cling to your claim to then state you export vast quantities to the eu, however as figures show, by simply driving it from scotland into england or a boat from scotland to england (your most important and largest market) you claim scotland exports to the eu when infact the accurate term would be "Most of Scotlands products stay within mainland U.K." and our biggest companies are not Scottish but are from the U.K.

You also know one of the largest companies in Scotland with multiple brands, is Diageo so you can check to see if they are a Scottish company or A U.K. Company whose hq is in London, but you already know the answer to that one don't you fin

The same as one of your largest companies, Scottish power, is actually owned by the Spanish company Iberdrola
Scottish widows is a subsidiary of Lloyds banking group
Bank of Scotland is a subsidairy of Lloyds banking group
Chivas brothers is co owned by pernod and yes Diageo

  2. i believe AirConman we aint as poor and dependent as we have all been told for decades. and some are just to happy to believe. its just your prejudice AirCon and Noob that turns everything into indi when discussing the impact of brexit on our markets.
i also see you would rather use the figures interpreted by the SIU members, Better together and tory donors of the Scottish whisky association.. you didnt use the GERS figures btw.
check out the top two. food and drink is one of our top sectors.
    Major UK exports include:
    • Whisky (£4.5 billion)
    • Salmon (£720 million)
    • Chocolate (£680 million)
    • Cheese (£623 million)
    • Beer (£603 million)
    • Shellfish (£600 million)
    • thats from feb 2018.
    • it aint Scottish whisky unless its made here. Scottish whisky is currently a protected brand. trump wants access to those markets and brands.

  3. aye, any excuse for the trump. while i agree with the sentiment and things have changed re protecting stocks
how many people killed in the USA with guns but bans Scottish salmon because of a few seals? is the orange one still sulking because of our wind-farms?

  4. Lakeside Drive, Park Royal: I had many a happy hour chatting with contractors there whilst the roads, bridges and lakes were being built.

They did a marvellous pint of Guinness in the Director’s bar there!

  8. Except fin, the ban was introduced in september 2016 under Obama and Trump wasn't elected as president till November 2016 and only took up the role in January 2017 :D

    https://donstaniford.typepad.com/my-blog/2016/09/seal-of-approval-for-us-ban-on-salmon-.html

  9. and has had ample opportunity to remove it. along with the other salmon producers he has an embago on.

  10. So just to be clear, we have official u.s. documents showing your claim that trump banned scottish salmon exports to the U.S. was an incorrect claim, as Obama did it, coolio. Glad we cleared that up. one less "but but but , it's trump" you fake news pedlar you, rascally fellow :D

  11. i was thinking more yer indoctrinated prejudice than yer love of Guinness and barbiturates AirCon.

  12. you posted the link. the links dated 2018 where it states the ban and the value of salmon exports, (same as mine) trump has been in power since when?
trump has been approached, trump has continued the ban. its trumps ban

  13. Wrong.
Diageo doesn’t own any of Chivas Brothers. It is wholly owned by Pernod Ricard.

In any case, I’m not sure what point you’re trying to prove. Are you suggesting that Britain doesn’t export any Jaguars or Land Rovers because Jaguar Land Rover belongs to the Indian company Tata, or any Fords because Ford is an American company or any Minis because BMW is a German company?

You seem to have a bizarre view of exporting.

  14. naw, your exposing yourself as a fool AirCon and just a lil to keen to discredit yerself.

  15. let me give you a litle help AirCon. go read noobs link. read the words and the words used. in an attempt to discredit the ScotGov they expose the problem with unprotected markets, international trade, america and brexit.
    Doh!.

  17. you should always speak out about prejudice. expose an asshole should be part of our culture and a national sport. and maybe, just maybe we could be champions at something, up here.

  18. Then perhaps you need to dig deeper than the company blurb. Diageo and pernod were a joint venture to buy the distillery side of seagrams, it's an interesting read, just one piece at the time of the buy out https://www.irishtimes.com/business/pernod-diageo-plan-seagram-s-joint-venture-1.1259960

My point was obvious and has not been disputed by fin, claiming yourself as an european country when in fact you are PART of a european country, then driving your goods down the motorway to the other side of gretna green does not make european exports, no matter what the snp say.

  19. He was trying to argue that Scotland didn’t export whisky because the whisky companies are not based in Scotland.
What wider context have I missed?
    Have you become his secretary?
