You will find there are a few on here that had playful Nuke battles - they are nothing to do with negativity - I had over 300 in one day from Chiz, and all the top Nuke scores come from this playfulness - AC's, Chizels and Lozzeraptors - so don't get hung up about it
So to paraphrase, it's not that the ECJ does anything you don't like, it's just that it could potentially do so some time in the future. It's handy for backward places like Bulgaria, but is really of no use to a sophisticated place like the UK. I can concede the second point - though it's nothing to get steamed up about, pretty much an irrelevant argument. As for the former, well, if there isn't already a long list of things to complain about in the ECJ's workings, I can't see that it's a major sticking point. Worth taking a hit on trade over?
Churchill was indeed a founding influence for the EU, but never advocated the UK would be part of it (I've amended your comment above to be more accurate )
I know. In fact, I've just had a brilliant idea. It's a new area of the Forum called Playground where people can participate in wild banter, nuke battles and memes without even having to pretend to have a debate! I'm gonna float the idea to Rob. I'm convinced of its brilliance.
The ECJ almost never makes you do things you want to do. Well, nearly almost never. Rarely. You know, it's probably all lies anyway.
That is EXACTLY the opposite to what all the newspapers were reporting this weekend, and the majority,(not on remain pages),of Facebook,"polls". I note that the graphic you used is almost 2 months old too.
I did post links to the Times and Independent front pages a while back, both screaming headlines about, "Every constituency except two,(including May's own),are vastly in favour of no deal". Perhaps he missed those. https://www.independent.co.uk/news/...ommons-eu-brussels-peoples-vote-a8815826.html Here's one from December last year: https://www.telegraph.co.uk/politic...-remain-constituency-one-just-two-back-prime/ And Yougov from the same month https://yougov.co.uk/topics/politic...brexit-deal-leads-just-two-constituencies-it- One can only do so much.
You may not recall that it took the UK a few years to extradite the lovely Abu Hamza (Captain Hook) due to the ECJ protecting his family values or some other nonsense . It gave the ECJ a lot of bad press and probably hid a lot of good/reasonable decisions they make.
Sorry Dudes ... been busy working. What really matters right now (for Wednesday) is MP opinion, not public opinion, not your opinion, nor mine. Parliament (thankfully) appears to be massively against "No Deal" - that even includes the majority of the ERG. If Parliament decides we should have a "Peoples Vote" then public opinion will be what matters. Where is the poll-of-polls that suggests public opinion has swung in favour of "No Deal" ? I did a quick scan but couldn't see a link above.
I saw it on the BBC so as it's against their beliefs it must be true, which I know is unusual for them, just ask Finm Thankfully Parliament is against the Nations opinion, really? Strange world you live in...
