British Indy: What Happens Now?

?
  1. Full Brexit with "no EU deal" on the 29th March.

  2. Request Extension to article 50 to allow a general election and new negotiations.

  3. Request Extension to article 50 to allow cross party talks and a new deal to be put to EU.

  4. Request Extension to article 50 to allow a second referendum on 1. Remain in EU or 2. Full Brexit.

  5. Table a motion in parliament to Remain in EU WITHOUT a referendum.

  6. I don't know or I don't care anymore

Results are only viewable after voting.
  1. Voting against “No Deal” is not ignoring Democracy .... because the vote in 2016 did not specify ‘the manner of leaving’. That is clearly the view of Parliament ... unless all the bookies and all the commentators are wrong. We’ll see on Wednesday.

@gliddofglood explained above why a poll-of-polls tends to be more accurate than individual polls. In short it is because they provide an average across a number of polls. A quick Google will help you understand more if you are interested.

  9. Firstly there is no evidence that the country wants a “No Deal” Brexit over any other form of Brexit, nor indeed over Remain.

Secondly, that is irrelevant as to why you or anyone else would bet on something. You bet on something because you think you can make a few bob and/or to support your team. It seems very few people are inclined to either idea in this case ... or the odds would be shorter LOL :)

  10. @noobie @Loz @Exige I’ve been busy all day baking this for you to eat on Wednesday when Parliament votes against “No Deal”. Would you like it with cream or ice-cream?

  11. Fin always talks about scottish independence no matter what the subject is.

Can you imagine if he ever went on the great british bake off? Noel Fielding would ask, So fin, what are you cooking today? Fin would reply...It's the tories in westminster doing all the cooking up and where is the Scottish version of this programme?

  17. Is ‘no deal’ not a specific manner of leaving ?

  18. or maybe i dont disagree noob. hmm
are you an english nationalist just like thatch?

  19. Errrr yes ... that is exactly my point (the 2016 vote did not specify “Leave with No Deal”) and that is why Parliament feels it can vote it down.

  20. It didn’t specify leave with a deal either, so that should be removed too ?
Then we can’t leave with or without a deal ?
