?
  1. Full Brexit with "no EU deal" on the 29th March.

  2. Request Extension to article 50 to allow a general election and new negotiations.

  3. Request Extension to article 50 to allow cross party talks and a new deal to be put to EU.

  4. Request Extension to article 50 to allow a second referendum on 1. Remain in EU or 2. Full Brexit.

  5. Table a motion in parliament to Remain in EU WITHOUT a referendum.

  6. I don't know or I don't care anymore

Results are only viewable after voting.

  2. I was asking you how the spellman amedment for today was different to the one by her in January when the house voted not to want a no deal brexit but as an amendment it is advisory only and the government is not legally obliged to act on it.

My understanding is, happy to be corrected, only the government can cancel article 50 as confirmed by european withdrawl bill 2018 (what was the great repeal bill) as to leaving with no deal..

Opposition to no-deal in itself is not enough. They can only stop Brexit if there is a clear majority in favor of an alternative outcome to the prime minister’s deal. At the moment, under British law and Article 50 of the European Union treaty, Britain will leave the EU on March 29 at 2300 GMT with or without a deal. This date was set in law in the Withdrawal Act that was passed by lawmakers last June.

  3. We have beef here, and export the same amount of Lamb than we import - and now because of the EU we are going to ship in Hondas from Japan instead of making them in the UK - a little like the Ford Transit from Turkey instead of Genk and the UK - I am so glad you have come round to the correct way of thinking, not that surprised though, I knew you would get there eventually - very well done Giddy Gliddy, very well done indeed :upyeah:

  6. They are now saying in the news that the car tariff is bad for the UK - yet no mention of it being far worse for the EU - that's the BBC for you

Hey EU, fancy free trade on cars: EU no, we are really upset like Glid, Dave and Dukey - feck off UK we would rather be bullies no matter what the cost to ourselves

Another true Brexit story - thanks for listening

  7. It's absolutely why so much is silly season,, the remainers/anti trumps say chlorinated chicken is dangerous (even though the eu themselves says there is nothing wrong with chlorinated chicken) The issue the eu has with chlorinated chicken publicly is the husbandry of the animals whilst alive, privately it's because the u.s. doesn't pay into the pot.

The U.S. banned Scottish Salmond when Obama was president and the cdc has upheld the ban ever since, they say, the salmon itself is not the issue but the husbandry of shooting seals to protect the salmon is not something they allow in thier own standards.

If you look at the actual timeline, this ban began in 2011 and so the attempt by scotland to ban chlorinated chicken can only be seen as a tit for tat that the scottish government did not do when Obama was president but had no issue objecting when Trump became president.

What hasn't helped matters is last years salmon sea lice problem that effected Scottish salmon

  9. Just run that past me, seriously, for those of us that don’t know. How will tariffs on cars work with no deal.
    Both ways?

It’s an honest question, because the bloody meeja has always misinformed us.

  11. 10% import charge both ways - but we buy far more from Germany and France than the whole EU do from the UK - the 10% tariff would go to the UK coffers on the imports.

  12. erm, yep. And they can change at any time, like if China takes the hump because our diplomats do not understand diplomacy or if Trump thinks you should buy more dodgy Boeing aircraft.
Thats why you enter in to a trade agreement, you know like....oh never mind.

  13. Please don't comment on what you have no understanding of - the EU and China deal is far worse for the Chinese market. But they are still JLR's second biggest customer having over taken the USA in 2017 (with the EU the 4th largest btw) Thanks :)
And yes - see above regarding my trade deal offer to the EU - thanks o_O

  16. hopefully others will step in as I read it briefly

currently the eu applies a tariff upto 10% to cars from outside the eu.

The U.k has announced vehicles from mopeds, busses, cars etc will be hit with tariffs ranging from 6% to 22%. if they are built/assembled from outside the U.K.

Now what this means is obviously the eu will be judged as an outside of the U.K. car assembler/supplier so will face the same tariffs as any other non uk vehicle producer.

Tariffs will not be applied to vehicle parts to help the U.K. car industry at home

So our vehicles are likely to go up but if the bike, car and vehicle industry puts them up too much, without eu rules, we are no longer tied to preferential eu made makes to support other countries industries.

A plus side is that the tariff fees will be money that will go into the nations pot that we did not have before

again, i've just flicked though the tariffs quickly and welcome anyone else's opinion on them

  18. trump up held the ban after reasurances where made. your piece said so.
yip, tit for tat. he didnt get the wind farm canceled and he lost his expenses for the case too
scotland didnt ban chloronated chicken. but as part of the uk and EU i giess it was the uk gov that had their say.
i will wager more are killed in one year for fun in alaska than where killed in the last 8years here
food related deaths because of their poor processing practices on america are way of the scale compaired to the EU.

  19. Only about 2 people in Parliament think that that is a good idea. I wonder why that is?
