British Indy: What Happens Now?

?
  1. Full Brexit with "no EU deal" on the 29th March.

  2. Request Extension to article 50 to allow a general election and new negotiations.

  3. Request Extension to article 50 to allow cross party talks and a new deal to be put to EU.

  4. Request Extension to article 50 to allow a second referendum on 1. Remain in EU or 2. Full Brexit.

  5. Table a motion in parliament to Remain in EU WITHOUT a referendum.

  6. I don't know or I don't care anymore

  1. I normally sleep very well, safe in the knowledge that if we remain in the EU, the EU will protect us from those corrupt ruffians in Westminster, and if we leave the EU, Westminster will have saved us from those corrupt ruffians in the EU.

For some reason though, I didn't sleep well last night. I wish I knew what was wrong.

  5. Did somebody say Toblerone?

Gotta be honest I don't mind them but much prefer my Swiss chocolate to be of the Lindt variety, perhaps thats out of loyalty to my auntie who used to work there, quite high up in fact if I remember correctly

    Anyway I digress.....

Where's Corbyn when you need a pick me up :eyes:

  7. Not quite, ok, not at all.

But I'm struggling with a cold at the moment and feel a little...urghh. Usually on sight of Corbyn I feel much better about myself and realise things could be much worse :)

  8. It's OK, I'm saved.

This shining example has just popped up on TV and reaffirmed that he really is stuck in the 60's

    Nice curtains math boy

  10. I agree, but feel she has been forced into this strategy rather than intending it from the start. I think we can expect Meaningful Vote 3 and 4 but the extreme ERG hard Brexiters are so entrenched and the majority against is so great that even if Cox’s “clarification” wins over the DUP it will be a massive ask for Mays deal to win.

Neither the UK nor the EU will let No Deal happen and I don’t see why any of the EU 27 will refuse an Extension - even Italy has to fall in line with the others if it isn’t going to suffer in the coming EU budget round.

If rope-a-dope fails then I think we are on for a long extension for renegotiation of a new softer Brexit, a GE or even a People’s Vote.

All of this of course is better than No Deal ... and thankfully everyone except the hard-line Brexiter minority recognises this.

  13. Laughable how all the Brexitards show their frustration at Labour whilst ignoring the huge shambolic and massively divided mess their own Tory Party have made of it all.

I sincerely hope we see the end of class-derived politics in the UK and the death of the Labour and the Tory party.

  15. Feck me: so you are saying the EU council decide and the members have no choice!!!

This show your views up for what the are, self centred

Read your own views of the EU above and be very ashamed :worried:

And your other words are simply idiotic, you didn’t see the strength of feeling from outside of Westminster regarding leaving without a deal! Parliament is out of touch and you are only out for yourself - thank goodness for people like the majority on here

    Oh, and good morning :):upyeah:

  17. Corbyn looks like a passenger most of the time, probably trust him less than the Tories. and I dont trust them at all.

If May and the rest of her disjointed clan had done the right thing at the start, ie a cross party agreement to the Brexit route, then we might be out now. That said, how could that happen with a clown like Corbyn?
The whole process has been allowed to be about party politics (and internal party politics, that really has killed it)

The Conservatives lost their mandate to dictate when they lost their majority.

    (ex Tory voter! )
