I am looking for a standard 748/749 that I want to keep long term. This looks good, mot history authenticates the mileage and it seems fairly well priced. Any thoughts?

Whats cheap these days ? I can't get my head round some prices at moment. Seems loads of mugs pushing prices sky high.
900ss,be different for small change https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Ducati-9...426933?hash=item3d856b9b75:g:pMAAAOSw5LRcg49E
Could be a deal to be done on this one as I think they may have had this a while... I seem to recall they had both this and a tricolore advertised for a good while last year and neither seemed to sell Early 916, a 998 or 999s may be a better option if its staying a while and future values come resale are any consideration in your thinking path.
I will have a good clean standard 748 for sale shortly, would that be of interest to you? PM me if so!
I've got a old 2 valve which I love, would like 4 valve as well. My brain says 999s would be best value, more comfortable but have already had 749 so fancy something different. Early 916 or 998 is what I keep looking at, but really struggle with values & amount of use I'd get out of it. Maybe I should flog 2v & go whole 9yrds with 851 sp3 or 888 sp4, I only ride sunny Sundays & have no real interest in a making a collection.
Agreed. Unfortunately I am 5’7 so the 748/749 fit although I haven’t sat on 996/998/999. I also wanted to tie up about 4K so the bigger ones are 5-6k
