Last summer my screen got its wobble on and i could'nt find the time to sort it out. it looked like something had come loose/fallen off at the bottom of the rod the screen travels up and down. Found myself with some time at the weekend and stripped the front of the bike to get to the bottom of the issue. As i took off the fairing above the headlight this bit fell out and it looks like it should be situated where the top arrow is on here: I've ordered the part for the princely sum of £9 from the dealer. i'm not sure if there should be a circlip where the bottom arrow is but i guess i'll find out when the part turns up and i put it back together. anyone else had this issue?
No circlip present. The thing just stays there as it’s a tight fit yet my dealer told me to put some locktide of sorts before putting it on.
