I've just had a normal day in the office. And the upside to today is the news that Chris Huhne and Vicky Pryce have just been sent down for eight months. Serves them right, although when compared to muggers and rapists being let off it does seem a tad harsh. But there again it serves them right
air con seems so dog eat dog, glad i do 90% refrigeration, getting tougher though with pubs shutting down so much, tescos, sainsburys and the like sticking shops all over and pushing the smaller shops over the edge, butchers, bakerys that have been around for years shutting down, also lost some quite big factorys, tis tough out there, alway work for a good air con engineer though fig ; )
I went to the Geneva Motor Show, for the first time for a few years. What did I learn? That you're better off going by train rather than car (ironically). The interiors of most cars all look pretty much the same - same parts bins, pretty much. That cars aren't that exciting unless you're extremely wealthy. That I'd like an Alfa 4C if my material circs change. That I'd like the new Jaguar thing in blue if they change a lot. That I'll take an Aston Vanquish if I win the lottery a few times. Generally cars drink a lot less fuel these days and seem to go faster and accelerate faster - progress. White and especially pearl white is the in colour. Suits me - I'm so bored of black and grey. The new Lambo - don't know what it's called - looks shite. All pointy and hideous. Cars are so quality now that you don't need to change them after 30'000 miles and a couple of years, but people still do. Clearly just for the fun of owning a new one. Fools! In the fun vs expense equation, keeping my 13 year old Alfa still gives the best result.
it was one of those posh long ones to with an extra fine cutting edge would you like to see a picture?
There was a documentary years ago about a man and a cheese grater .. Was called Pimps Johns ... Something .. Ouch .... That hurts
Posh cheese grater?? Boy am I common .. I have 3 expensive saucepans and that's it!!! I go to Kitchen .. Cook and get out.. The kitchen is where the Tea bags and kettle lives and to me that is all that matters !! My blood is probably 90% tea
remember that, and matey with the sand paper, seem to remember he had a strange craving for a freshly served drink too ; )
