1. Well hey Ho insomnia strikes again!
I was laying about when for no reason the song by King " Love and Pride" just randomly popped into my head !???
No idea why and it won't go away.

Does this happen to you?
Do you wake up with some annoying tune stuck on your brain all day?
Do you find yourself whistling it or singing it to yourself ?
Even though you loathe it.

So what was the song?
Annoying isn't it .

2. Also known as Earworms, BBC 6 Music's breakfast show has a whole item devoted to the pesky blighters!

I had Cloud Busting by Kate Bush in my head for about a week, and it drove me nuts!

3. Peggy Lee - Is That All There Is?

There are times I wonder about myself ...

4. Wonerstuff - Size of a cow :-/

5. 'The Bare necessities': from the Jungle book

The Bare Necessities

Look for the bare necessities The simple bare necessities
Forget about your worries and your strife
I mean the bare necessities Old Mother Nature's recipes That brings the bare necessities of life
Wherever I wander, wherever I roam I couldn't be fonder of my big home
The bees are buzzin' in the tree To make some honey just for me
When you look under the rocks and plants And take a glance at the fancy ants Then maybe try a few
The bare necessities of life will come to you They'll come to you!
Look for the bare necessities The simple bare necessities Forget about your worries and your strife
I mean the bare necessities That's why a bear can rest at ease With just the bare necessities of life
Now when you pick a pawpaw Or a prickly pear
And you prick a raw paw Next time beware
Don't pick the prickly pear by the paw
When you pick a pear Try to use the claw
But you don't need to use the claw When you pick a pear of the big pawpaw Have I given you a clue ?
The bare necessities of life will come to you They'll come to you!
So just try and relax, yeah cool it Fall apart in my backyard 'Cause let me tell you something little britches If you act like that bee acts, uh uh You're working too hard
And don't spend your time lookin' around For something you want that can't be found When you find out you can live without it
And go along not thinkin' about it I'll tell you something true
The bare necessities of life will come to you!

Very profound stuff, but it's driving me mad:eek:

17. (Land of Make) Believe it or not, I was trawling t'internet for King Crimson / ELP stuff and this shite came up. Incredibly, the lyrics were written by Pete Sinfield, who also wrote for KC & ELP.

Ah well, another few days of..... Sing along now......

"run for the sun, little one,
You're an outlaw once again,
Time to change, superman,
He'll be with us while he can,
In the land of make believe"

.......before I go fucking (even more) mental!

18. Pete Sinfield was crazy from Day One, I reckon. Mind you, Fripp married Toyah, who saw that coming at the time?
