to be fair the EU told her at 4am in the morning what they would accept.... 27 to 1... do you really think she had much to say in the shape of the deal? That's why we need to leave WTO rather than the current EU deal. Or we stay in and veto each and every single bit of legislation..... stop the EU monster from growing any larger, from within.
Let's be honest, if anyone is going to stop traffic at the port during the changeover when ever it happens, it's going to be the Frenchies, not us.
Close. The Deal was the EU's and May has spent all her time negotiating with the UK to get it through. Which is odd, if you think about it. Very odd.
You guys need to read what is written and cross reference against the facts, paying close attention to my use of the indefinite article. The majority of voters voted to leave A majority of those eligible to vote did not vote to leave
I didn't want to come back! Fantastic time with fantastic people, and I was even looking at prices for apartments while I was over there. I really hope that Brexit gets binned or at least delayed long enough so that it doesn't cause me too much hassle to "Leave"...
By they, I principally mean the EU. But by extension, groups like “the German car industry”. They don’t care about a 5% tariff on cars. It’s we who pay it, not them. They care about freedom of movement Just in time deliveries Harmonisation of standards Plus many other factors which financially dwarf losing a few British customers to jaguar.
Cool thanks. You are correct that the majority of those eligible to vote, did not vote leave. Another fact is, that even more of the majority eligible to vote, did not vote to stay. I love facts me.
And you need to pay attention when people point out to you that some of your "facts" are inconsequential and irrelevant. People who don't vote don't matter in a ballot. : o D
The UK border agency is also located on the French side of the pond... If France was to require the import declaration then it would stop the lorry/goods at the French - Belgian border. I have no problem if HMRC requires import declaration....but as I write they do not know if required or not. LOL Will contact them again tomorrow morning.
Another so-called stumbling block evaporates. How much time has been wasted by politicians and civil servants chasing down unicorns like the so-called,"backstop"? https://www.bloomberg.com/news/arti...K2DYCxGyh0pPoqgdz4Hq__jVFbmwW6evRWV3buJK90tK0
