  2. Yeah, they’re heavy with the vest, but you don’t notice it when they’re on

  3. You were definitely going well, bike looks & sounds great, saw you pull in towards the end of the last race what was the issue
One of our lads had an outstanding 4th place on Saturday first time out in the big boys class, unfortunately joined the Craners Club 1st lap Sunday morning, he was pushing for 2nd place though, you probably got a good view of it. Touch and go now for Cadwell :(

  7. No worries, I'm not a photographer, far from it. Bit hit and miss unfortunately.
    I prefer to be doing the exciting stuff. A few more pics... 1.jpg 2.jpg 3.jpg 5.jpg 6.jpg 7.jpg 8.jpg 9.jpg

The cam was only bought to take pics in the paddock at our weekends, but wasn't used..
This was 1st time ever, using pan and manual mode, only learnt how to take it off auto a few weeks back, and have only used it 2, 3 times in years of owning it...

The approved Media, with expensive kit, positioned the other side of the fence will get the pics (angles) others can't. I have been sent some f.o.c over the years..

Pro/semi pro Quality difference is huge. I suspect they edit the best ones, and or some they send out specifically. Probably not so practical to edit properly when uploading lots and images of every rider of the day to a track photo website. I'm not knowledgeable about editing, maybe pros use a auto enhance on all bulk uploads.

They do spend 2K + on a single lens. Race days are pretty well covered by official photographers. Track days that have official photographers seem very variable I have noticed.
I've had better pics from the public, than some appointed photographers take on trackdays.

Maybe after trawling through 100's of photos day in day out, they perhaps get a bit complacent after a while. Doing it once I can relate to that, not something I am well suited to.

  8. Yeah, I remember that one. it was still really cold, and I remember thinking to use the first couple of race laps to get a feel for the grip and he came flying past with the other guy that crashed. I remember at the time thinking they'd not make that lap, and you can see me in the background in the pic. Hope he's ok though ?

  10. Thanks mate ! I’m struggling to find any of me.

I wasn’t confident at all on Saturday with there being so many nasty crashes and you can really see that in my body language haha!
