British Indy: What Happens Now?

?
  1. Full Brexit with "no EU deal" on the 29th March.

  2. Request Extension to article 50 to allow a general election and new negotiations.

  3. Request Extension to article 50 to allow cross party talks and a new deal to be put to EU.

  4. Request Extension to article 50 to allow a second referendum on 1. Remain in EU or 2. Full Brexit.

  5. Table a motion in parliament to Remain in EU WITHOUT a referendum.

  6. I don't know or I don't care anymore

Results are only viewable after voting.
  1. So, not answering the question of being scared to lose a 3rd vote on EU membership?

    Just asking... :p

  2. afraid of loosing ooooo scary, don't be silly

I was just checking as your version largely seemed to be, your version.

Well over the last 3 years the majority of those mentioning a second vote have been largely, those that lost the first. No mention before the vote took place by that side. Everyone entered willingly knowing it was said it was the vote for a generation, this is not scotland, we live longer than 12 months. Even parliament yesterday despite the abnormal extreme remainers saying it has swung to wanting one, even parliament said , nahhhhh

I have never said I voted against the 1975, I was 12 at the time and even the barmy moss munchers do not advocate 12 year olds voters. I think you are making a lot of things up:D

  4. Q: What are you going to say when It comes back 55% leave 45 Remain?

  5. You know full well the MP’s would split the leave vote - clearly WTO vote would win against remain when you stop believing all the government induced media tripe.
Can you please stop crying about it :sob:
You are of course most welcome to your selfish views on Brexit, but please stop crying, thank you

  7. That the referendum has been ratified. The result would be a clear indication that with full consideration of the facts the people have made up their minds.

  8. Does that mean we get another one every 4 years, so people can further learn from every policy and decision the EU implement or is this vote then set in stone for 40 years if remain win?

  13. Be sure that I am not crying about the result, nor about the UK leaving the EU in whatever shape or form, as I am in the fortunate position that it will have little material impact on me, and my circumstances mean that I can easily move to the EU (specifically Italy) as and when I want.

But I feel that there are a lot of Try Hards who are in for a very rude awakening...

  16. I reckon one way of resolving things would be to remove the UK from the Maastricht Treaty - IMO that's when things started to get worse.

  17. Well, I have been watching a lot more Sky and BBC News for the past few months. Someone has to.

It is obvious to me, beyond any doubt whatsoever, that the coverage of "Brexit" has been a full-on orchestrated and deliberate propaganda exercise. But not for the reasons you are thinking.

The lack of air-time for reasoned debate the lack of balance, the lack of time given to proper discussion of the issues. Both the technical aspects of Brexit and the wider societal impact of Leaving/Not Leaving. The constant deflating of any bubble that encourages WTO Brexit. The utter silence over the question of whether a different type of EU exit other than the EU's Withdrawal Deal from the EU was possible. The acceptance that the EU's position was "fixed" and that it was for the UK to find a way around that. The "two & half year negotiation" with the EU which in reality was a two & half year negotiation between May and the UK public.

    upload_2019-3-28_18-24-34.jpeg

The laser focus on the messages from "business" - but only one side of business, the corporations that benefit from EU membership and suffer from leaving it. The silencing of SME businesses who will benefit from Brexit.
The "pundit panels" - one Brexiteer, four or five Remainders, which prevents Brexiteers from reinforcing each other and establishing a dialogue during televised debates.
The shift in focus from Sky, in their "Papers" segment, from a wide range of individuals from various backgrounds, with the potential for predictable discussions, to a pair of media "professionals" who will stay on-script.
No discussion whatsoever of the dirty little deals May has been making with the EU regarding "the EU Army". (You need to find out about this stuff!)
No discussion of what the Remainder Government's activities mean for the future of Democracy, public trust and the "social contract".
The hysteria over whether May will resign or not - a complete irrelevance, as her place will be taken by an equally committed and compromised Remainder drone.
There's more but blah blah ...

    upload_2019-3-28_18-28-10.jpeg

The MSM coverage is designed for one thing and one thing only - to create public lethargy and weariness, a resignation to the fate of the UK. The MSM's only job at the moment is to defuse a potential backlash from angry citizens who recognise they are being played for fools, with their votes rendered meaningless. The "confusion" in Parliament, all the "dramas", the "inability of MPs to organise a piss-up in a brewery" - it's pure theatre. It's creating a narrative and a mood. The Remainder establishment is engaged in a subtle game of maintaining a lid on future public anger, to ensure that the globalist project in respect of the UK is not derailed for a generation. The Establishment does not want to be forced to follow Macron down the path of "urban pacification".

There is a game within the game here. The oddness you detect in the events as they unfold is due to the dual nature of the game. The wrangling over Brexit is a side-show, it is the manipulation and control of the people of the UK that is the main event.
