British Indy: What Happens Now?

?
  1. Full Brexit with "no EU deal" on the 29th March.

  2. Request Extension to article 50 to allow a general election and new negotiations.

  3. Request Extension to article 50 to allow cross party talks and a new deal to be put to EU.

  4. Request Extension to article 50 to allow a second referendum on 1. Remain in EU or 2. Full Brexit.

  5. Table a motion in parliament to Remain in EU WITHOUT a referendum.

  6. I don't know or I don't care anymore

Results are only viewable after voting.
  1. Wait. We haven't left yet?

I'll need proof of that. @749er PROMISED me we would leave on 29 March 2019.

  2. Let me put it to you another way fin theoretically as neither are likely.

Imagine you had a legal referendum on independence and the Scottish people voted to leave the U.K., then your government spent nearly 3 years not enacting the Scottish peoples vote to leave. what do you think the majority vote to leave would be thinking?

  3. I started shouting “STOP, WE HAVEN’T LEFT YET!” But people just looked at me as if I was a nutter and carried on leaving. What’s wrong with these people? They were all doctors and nurses too. We’re doomed :worried:

  7. Nope, I asked them all. Doctors, nurses, teachers and fruit and veg pickers they told me.

    We’re doomed

They said I was a racialist Englishman o_O

  8. Anyone know whether the Statutory Instrument has been approved by both Houses yet?

  9. Oh by the way. I thought we were all going to be poorer after 29th March. I’ve just bought some things things from Fortnum & Mason for the 1st time in my life on 30th March.

I’m confused, this doesn’t make sense. This Brexit stuff is nutty.

  12. May is apparently is going to bring her Deal for a fourth time! Isn't there a clause which prevents deliberate time wasting in the HofC?

  13. Perhaps they are just going to vote on the title of the document first.

    Then the table of contents.

    Then which font.

Could take a while to get it all agreed though.

  15. We mentioned this before where everytime she has run the vote, the number against it has dropped. In her head all she has to do is keep going. She is not going to step down I suspect and will remain locked into her vote or leave with a clean brexit and wto/free trade

  16. The English race is racist. Ask any of the other Home Nations.

Yes, the House pulled a super-crafty-swift one, like they do when they really, really want something. (Not just pay rises for themselves, you know!)

  17. The remain-supporting Conservative MP, Dominic Grieve, is facing deselection by his party after losing a confidence vote held by his Beaconsfield local association.
Not yet accepted by the party, but this could get interesting........
