Found a bolt under the bike yesterday. Looks like it belongs to the bike. Going to see if I can find a suitable hole for it but anyone recognise it? 5mm alan key bolt. 20mm thread length, 5mm head height. Looks grubby enough to not be one that is on show Just had tyres changed but also I suspect the old owner will have swapped various bits out when he got rid of the bike so could come from anywhere. Thoughts?
Do you have a topbox fitted, looks like a screw from the frame a topbox would sit on. Four of them hold it on the bike from memory
Topbox rack, bellypans, exhaust clamp, gravel guard, hand guards and engine casings so far all present and correct. Too grubby for visible engine, not grubby enough for givi fixings.
theres one similar to that right under the centre of the belly pan, it goes into a rubber mount underneath...worth checking
Nope. Traditional bolt on mine. plus 4x domes and 1x flanged flat one too. However I have now found something else that needs taking off, cleaning up, possibly repainting when I get a minute. Chances of that bolt coming off???
