I'm getting desperate - does anybody know who's got a 1992 900SS white frame with the black wheels and white lettering ?
Shouldn't be that rare (though depends how many came into the UK). Production figures, according to Ian Falloon's book: 1991: 4305 1992: 3302 1993: 4018 1994: 3363 1995: 4329 1996: 1768 1997: 2094 I think figures are on the web of what went where..
Did you see the 92' 750SS on ebay last night ? sold in an hour for £1500. Was going up this morning to view. Need to hang on for 900 model. The red was much deeper on the 91 -92 model, with the white frame they're delicious !!!
That's the baby  If he fancies riding it over I'll give him a good price for it ........
good luck, keep your powder dry, the season will begin soon and with the ever helpful eagle eyes on here you'll have more chance of getting exactly what you desire ps - you have a pm
this thread has cheered me up - I can remember a time hardly 5 years ago when people were saying this paint scheme was horrible - I ummed an arred over one near Kingston about 4 years ago - it went for a grand.
1991 900ss! New Chain & sprocket, starter motor, forks rebuilt 1000 miles ago. Monster replacement engine back in 2006 by previous owner.
After years of looking for a project I finally decided on a 900ss. I wanted a Norton 650ss for ages but came to the conclusion it was way out of my price range, I think there was a recent picture on the forum but could be wrong. I trawled the Internet for pictures, specification and information as I am prone to do. I liked the bikes I saw but there was something missing, that something was found when I saw a picture of the 1992 900ss, white frame, black wheels, white lettering. As they say, beauty is in the eye of the beholder so I am sure other people bought their bikes for a similar reason, but after seeing that colour scheme I knew one day she had to be mine. Sorry, this doesn't help you much does it. Good luck in your search, no gloating intended, will keep an eye out. Cheers Gaz
I couldn't believe my luck .......................... for a brief second. You can call me 'Mr Picky' but think that resto maybe a little out of my league ... there's one out there, must be patient.
I dont think its that Bad tbh Tric. Lock sets come up on ebay. Engine out for a good clean and a coat of paint and the rest just a bloody good clean.

You could always make a cheeky offer on the project bike. Then give t to someone and pay them the couple grand you saved to sort it for you.
