I want us out, clean deal..... 12th April... hopefully one of the 27 will get fed up and chuck us out. Failing that we'd be better off staying in, from a future economic point of view. However that would continue to divide the country for generations to come and totally change our view / interaction with government. What MUST not be allowed to happen is the EU deal as written (aka May deal) or a softer Brexit. We will have the worst of both worlds and no control or say in our future international trade deals. For the record it was NEVER about immigration for me, more the governance of our own people and laws. The only people who appear to have benefited from the EC of J are terrorists or legal (barristers etc) people. PS I hope I've got the mix of ladies to text at the right ratio?

A and B aren’t on the list, so no EU Deal without Backstop, nor No Deal. John Barron is questioning this.
The honourable ladies and gentlemen are determined if nothing else. What I don’t understand is the almost total opposition by them of a no deal. Keep hearing about how no one knew what they were voting for. I’m not convinced that people that voted leave think that, it’s a remain voters argument. Perhaps, in this relatively small group of people here someone can prove me wrong. Any leave voters here that have changed their minds because they didn’t think it would be without a deal ?
No it's a remain thing - in fact what was said about the gates of hell opening was far worse and we ignored that too
Some of us Leavers knew, from the start and without a shadow of a doubt, that the battleground of a "leaving deal negotiation" with the EU would not be over the fine details of FTA, customs arrangements, etc but would instead be one of punishment and dissuasion. I knew all along that the only deal that the EU would countenance would be one that the UK, under no circumstances, could accept. I was proved right on this. What I got wrong was that the battle, rather than being between the UK Government and the EU, was instead between the UK Government and the People of the UK. I'm not sure that I saw that coming, not in my wildest nightmares, not immediately after the referendum. I always knew that the only reasonable deal that the UK could leave under was "No Deal" but even that is being denied us by our EU-UK Parliament.
