Simply that it is possible that some people who voted Leave, did so thinking that they were leaving with a Canada++ / Norway / Switzerland deal. The Leave spokes- people said all these things repeatedly. Whether it was Farage Davis Gove Mogg etc. If only 1% of the people who voted Leave thought they would be leaving with one of those type of arrangements the vote would be the reverse, or a majority for Remain. Personally a few points either way is not enough. The solution has to be found that makes most people happy with what happens next, or most people will be unhappy for ever because of the arguing.
It just said on the news 'some results' are through and mentioned the 4 so I thought there might be more, how exciting that there isn't
I don't believe it does. I also don't think that having a second referendum which Remain would likely win tomorrow would be a solution either. Its a solution that is needed not a quick win in an arguement.
But your lot said we would all burn in hell ffs - I have not found one leaver that says the words you put in their mouths - only ones that have even stronger views to leave and some remainers who say democracy should be upheld - your spin is meaningless
Jezza thinks it’s now his turn to keep bringing his proposal to the House, even though it’s already been voted down twice, and Mr Blackford still wants Independence: quelle surprise!
Oh, I see what you mean now. I would still like to hear from someone that voted leave that has changed their mind, would be interesting to know why. Finding a solution is looking unlikely. Perhaps a petition to remove all involved and start again ?
U.K. Manufacturing reaches a 13 month high......in spite of Brexit https://www.dailymail.co.uk/money/n...pectations-amid-surge-Brexit-stockpiling.html
Closest was Clarke/CU lost by 3 (273-276). though Peoples Vote got more actual votes than any other option, but was beaten by a larger margin.
It’s time to petition M. Macron to get him to veto further extensions. That would leave a straight choice between Leave or Remain.
The idea of a ballot is the one with the most votes is successful, not that the losing motion with the most votes, or smallest losing margin is the “winner”.
The 'solution' is to leave - should have been all along. The negotiations were clap trap EU politics that we should not have become embroiled in. Negotiated my arse - pathetic. Leave, then negotiate would have been our best approach and would have secured a free trade agreement due to the massive trade deficit. But someone will be along soon to say that would not have happened because they do not know jack shit
Maybe they should have a vote on all the options tomorrow. The option that gets the least votes is eliminated and then they do it again, until there is only one left.
