Nice one Terry it looks the dogs, ride safe. Got my tv licence last june for free (75years olde) and now the powers that be are talking about reversing that small offering.
Oh yeh just remembered that I taxed the van today for six months and that had gone up another fiver....barstools.
Someone’s got a keen eye for a photo shoot, good idea to push it next door, less bike clutter and the colour scheme works well!
We had to take the back-up vehicle into London, £21.50 charges even before I started the engine. .... 5 hours driving and £24 parking for just 5 hours work (10hrs for two people).
Nice bike congrats, and nice seat, is that standard? What’s it covered with, pillion part aside, alcantara?
I've just had my van insurance renewal through, it's gone up from £209 to £239 with auto renewal, had a look around for alternative quotes before ringing up to cancel the auto renewal, I found I could stay with the same company on a compare site with cashback for £184 ( there were cheaper) so rang up to be asked why I wanted to cancel, told them it was price, they came back with £171. I think five minutes on the phone with a saving of £68 was time well spent. My day has started well. Steve
That post could just have easily gone in the "what's got under your skin today' thread. It's a disgrace, and IMO should be legislated against, that insurance companies can rip off their existing/regular customers in this way but it certainly shows the benefits of shopping around every rental time. Well done.
Sat in Orthopaedic out patients waiting on my final post surgery review. 6 months on and I still can't sit for more than 10 minutes before fidgeting and then having to stand. Still, the level of discomfort doesn't need medicating which is a positive. Andy
Never settle for an auto renewal, get on the phone and tell them you’ve had a cheaper quote, even if you fabricate one it’ll pay off. They are as corrupt as the day is long.
Having fun hooning around on this little beast. At speed the wind rushes up your trouser legs through your jacket collar and lifts your helmet off your head!
Transplanted bamboo from one part of the garden to another. Seriously culled the bamboo grove. Played with the chainsaw and tidied up a couple of trees that had been blown down over the winter. Slipped in the stream and landed on my arse and head, nature's way of getting back at me for messing with it I suppose. Took some pics for @Ducbird, the cherry blossom tree and the bluebell wood and fuchsias - it seems mighty early to me for fuchsias.
After forking out for my van insurance and thought what a good start to the day it was, I have been out to the garage to do a bit of tinkering and found a tooth missing from the Ducati rear sprocket, I am now another £148 down after ordering a sprocket and chain set.
