?
  1. Full Brexit with "no EU deal" on the 29th March.

  2. Request Extension to article 50 to allow a general election and new negotiations.

  3. Request Extension to article 50 to allow cross party talks and a new deal to be put to EU.

  4. Request Extension to article 50 to allow a second referendum on 1. Remain in EU or 2. Full Brexit.

  5. Table a motion in parliament to Remain in EU WITHOUT a referendum.

  6. I don't know or I don't care anymore

  1. Huawei will be pleased to provide the infrastructure for this.

  2. Other providers are available.

  3. The battle flag of the Confederate States of America is a strange example of maturity and cooperation in politics.
Civil wars are particularly bloody: far better to have proxy wars in other people’s countries.

  4. Who are we?

  5. Several government ministers have already signed leak contracts with channel 4 news and the guardian

  6. Not a good idea then ?

There must be a better way ?

  7. They won't be supplying the kind of "service" one can expect from Huawei, though. Imagine conference calls and video conferencing providing instant links between individual MPs, a Virtual Parliament and Beijing, with no loss of data whatsoever!

  8. Are Huawei the 'best' provider of this sort of system then ?
    (in terms of technology)

  10. Huh?

The process of provision of infrastructure is based upon low costs and kickbacks. Quality of service is a distant third in this kind of race.
I would argue that not having a back door built into your communications for the benefit of a foreign powers's data-gathering operations should be first and foremost and it would appear that the US security Services agree my assessment. I gather the UK is now listening to this advice, too.

  11. Will CCHQ over-rule the local party in this instance, too?

  12. I agree, I'm just trying to get my virtual parliament off the ground and save the country some money.

  13. A man in a shed would be cheaper.

  14. the HOC is already televised. as are committees.

  15. Not at all! If I had wanted to Leave with a Canada++ , I would have voted Leave. I would not have voted Remain. What these people would "cleave to" is unknown.

So suspicious. Vote on all options was my suggestion. Include No Deal - its an option.

So, best case scenario - instead of a party split on Brexit being the minority Government, we get a party as a Majority Government which is - split on Brexit?
Unless people make good on their threats to turn their backs on the two main parties and vote in a Brexit party ... wouldn't that be something?

The people will vote with their best interests in mind. I hope they make a good choice.

  17. What column did the people who wanted Leave with a Canada++ Norway type deal tick in your opinion?

  18. In the 2016 referendum ?
I'd guess they voted leave - but don't know if they have changed their minds.

I'm not sure where we are going with this, it was the 'didn't know what they were voting for' argument I was wondering about.
I've not found any leave voters that now want to remain to ask 'why?'

The only people I have spoken to (in my little world) that have changed their minds voted remain and now think we should leave, for differing reasons.

  19. Possibly it could make things worse in the short term. Then new parties could form and have some chance of winning a few seats, and some recognition, and probably changing it all completely. Its overdue imo.
