The bigger the organisation, the more diluted our voting powers are. I cant see my vote having any affect on an EU scale
No guardian figure fin, Scotland as many of the nations, have have substantive capital through the city deal schemes you just seem reluctant to mention them as it gives the impression that scotland is not being starved of cash from westminster as most in the snp decry
no, thats just your bitterness and ignorance showing. surley the very fact that EU investment is required in the first place should give you a lil clue. go ask the s/w what they think of uk gov investment. using uk gov figures and excluding oil, on average every year, 60bill in near 30bill back . its quite expencive being part of the uk.
Come on a gov is not a plc....every single country would have MEPs there. I believe not having borders within EU and one gov ther would be no more "this law is made to suit X and Y country since all will be one. Honestly can it be any worse than our own gov?
What oppresion are you talking about? You make it sound like we live in North Korea.... What makes you believe that out of EU would make the very poor, I mean the really poor that struggle to buy food would live better? Is UK's political class famous for helping out these? We live in a nice era, 9 hours of work a day results in a decent living standard.
Why not? You will vote for a European party and PM based on a pre-election program/campaign...same as in UK now. Even now the MEP's are "spread" within two major organisations called EPP(European People's Party) and PES. (Party of European Socialists) As always, you'll have the right wing and left wing to chose from.
Fin we have already etablished , you shipping stuff down to england and claiming it as exports, is not exporting to another eu country as we are both under the eu definiton of one country
There aren't many ERG for a reason. Maybe most of the Tory MPs simply forgot that was what they wanted to be when they grew up? Or they might think its a shite ideolodgy and they don't support it at all even after 40 years?
Everyone knows they will have to compromise. At least all adults who have lived a normal life understand that compromise is a daily fact.
Why do you assume you have to belong to the erg to want to act on the peoples majority democratic vote for a clean break from the eu. I'm pretty sure we have non erg tories asking for the vote confirmation and other party mp's too
yes and i already demostrated it is, as are your exports up here, and half of our exports go overseas. around about now we would normally have exe shouting, project fear!. warra troll you are.
The MEP's have no real power. Instead look at Juncker's circle and particularly the rather unpleasant Martin Selmayr. I assume you followed his controversial promotion? That is how they work and I am afraid it's corrupt and does not have any checks and controls (or audits!).
I can't remember the context now, It's possible I read it wrong. I thought he was saying Leavers will have to compromise and that they were the problem. So thought I'd say why I thought remainers were not so good at compromise either.
