British Indy: What Happens Now?

Discussion in 'Wasteland' started by Loz, May 23, 2015.

?
  1. Full Brexit with "no EU deal" on the 29th March.

  2. Request Extension to article 50 to allow a general election and new negotiations.

  3. Request Extension to article 50 to allow cross party talks and a new deal to be put to EU.

  4. Request Extension to article 50 to allow a second referendum on 1. Remain in EU or 2. Full Brexit.

  5. Table a motion in parliament to Remain in EU WITHOUT a referendum.

  6. I don't know or I don't care anymore

Results are only viewable after voting.
  1. Brexit: MPs back delay bill by one vote

    https://www.bbc.com/news/uk-politics-47809717

They will take notice of that then, something that wins by a single vote.

But ignore the referendum because it was too close and basically ignore a petition signed by 6 million.

  2. @damodici
    Thanks :upyeah:.
I've no idea who the first one is, just googled eye candy images.
Kylie on the other hand IMO is a bit of a MILF :), although she's far too short for me:(.
Mind you, I'm going to have stop doing Google searches for 'hot totty', 'eye candy', 'hot hook ups' in case SWMBO ever sees my search history :scream:

  3. Don't worry, the House of Lords has its finger on the pulse of popular opinion. They'll quash this anti-Brexit legislation for sure!

  4. Hey duke, I presume you were referencing my post (#30548) above? We have to remember it's only 75 years since the countries in Europe stopped blowing the shit out of each other. Whilst on the surface these days it's all politeness and civility there's an ingrained distrust between the various cultures, one could even call them tribes, created and developed over the last 2500 years or more. It will take time to overcome that, a lot longer than the 16 years the EU Commission has been trying to federalise Europe.

  7. Ha ha, It does seem a tad pessimistic but it looks logical now (although certainly not palatable to anyone other than the EU commission) I think this is May's plan - make it the only thing possible so it has to go through - shitstorm!

  8. "The cunts in ERG" !. You seem to feel strongly about this.

Anyhoo, I don't think the cunt Carny has a great track record in being able to predict the future, so lets not bet the house on what he says.

  9. May has been working a strategy, that is for certain.

People yelling at her for "incompetence" are, frankly, clueless on this.

  10. The same kind of strategy that has worked for Boris Johnson all these years - the likable incompetent buffoon...… They are both very dangerous in that sense

  11. Many dubious and questioned later events? Are you referring to Leave leader like Gove Johnson Stuart Baker all being investigated for illegal camapign funds and dirty tricks - no one has explained why they gave the DUP £435,000, at least not yet.

May is on her own side, May has always been on her own side - remember her election camapign "Vote for me..."

  12. The majority in Westminster never had any intention to let brexit happen, they will work it in a way that it seems that it is our democratic choice, that the public has changed opinion, so you will not get a second referendum because can you imagine if we vote leave again, it would be the wrong answer again for the majority in Westminster , sorry what did you say , leave won the referendum? F*ck that, since when do we listen too and take advise from people outside our bubble, you must be joking, they may vote, but we only follow up on the result if it suits us here in Westminster surely, ..............

  13. Hardly. Incompetance is not doing your job properly & to an acceptable standard. May might have a "strategy" which some would say is best described as deliberately not doing your job properly!

  14. Boris is a gifted amateur and easily exposed.

May is a finely-tuned robot with a very professional team remote-controlling her.

    Two different leagues : o )

  16. He says that a lot, it's normally in the method of, I have no dog in this fight, they are all as bad as each other but the brextards are all cvnts.

He's like that man who sings to himself and the pigeons in the town centre, whilst drinking from a bottle of cola that really has cider inside

  17. I think it's quite clear to most, that parliament has turned the peoples majority democratic vote to leave, into what level of remain can we sell as leaving

  18. I don't believe -based on what I've seen in the last months- that most of then are able to make a plan & stick to it!

Mays position requires a higher standard of performance and she has not by any measure reached it.

  19. Have they all had it too easy for years ?
It's time they started doing their job.
