  6. Oh genius. Right. Nice one.

Stayed in all morning, having dropped off my car for its MOT first thing, as I am waiting for some packages to arrive. Received a delivery of one of them from the postie late morning so I thought "That's it, then". Went into Town for a few hours, to get a few things, came back. Fine. Just now popped into my local garage to pick up my MOT'd and serviced car - I was twenty minutes doing that. In that twenty minutes, the postie - who obviously had my house under close surveillance in order to get the timing right - put through a notice telling me to collect a parcel from the Post Office. So when have they started doing two deliveries per day again, huh? He had hours in which to either deliver the additional parcel or to piss me off by picking the three hours I was out of the house in Town, but he chooses the twenty minute window I was out to do it in? Five minutes before I got home again?

Being repaired tomorrow needs some welding and some roll bar bushes and a rear no plate light

  10. I don't like chocolate but a back rub would be lovely :)

  11. Too late, I've gotten chocolate all over your back!

  12. Watching the Pope thing. The last time I saw white smoke from something Italian, my Alfasud had done a head gasket!

  13. That's not so bad on the grand scheme of things, provided the welding is not too tricky to get to its all straightforward stuff.

  14. Hope it goes ok mine did the other year ...
mines 16 years old bless ..,
I have the theory of cheap run about nice bike :)

  15. That's just wrong Loz on so many levels. Tut tut ..

  16. Just missed out on the Pope job..........AGAIN!

  17. It's the rear wheel arch that needs doing it could have been worse
The car is R reg and it's going to cost £125 had to weigh up wether it's worth it but it's battered like I am and I can't get rid of her :)
Have an advisory on the sill so that's next and rear brake pipes
    :-/

  18. Had a ride in a 57 plate vectra taxi today (must have been old stock, as that's well into insignia teritory) and can honestly say it was a quite remarkably horrible device that felt cheap and nasty, and light years behind my five year older accord. Just horrible.

  19. True. I do my best :upyeah:

Gutted for you! The perks of that job are fantastic. And mostly illegal.

Drove a Meriva a year or two back. It would have been better if it had been made out of Lego.

  20. Ugh don't.... I rented a meriva in Spain a couple of years ago, and it was terrible. The shocking thing is that I had a current model one to go to a meeting in bristol last year and it was even worse. A truly hateful car.
