Not really bud just a bit of pushing pulling to get it level and make sure it's warm or it's a twat ... Both bike and decals , I will always use moto grafix the quality is awesome .... And I've noticed prior to applying some chips
I have one of their tank pads. Stuck like s**t to a blanket. Might get Garin off the aprilia forums to fit it for me as he does van signwriting etc and has the knack. If your knees rub the top of your side fairings i have some clear pre cut vinyl Garin did to protect it. But as you are shorter than me you might not have that issue. Have some for the side of the tank for knee protection too. If fitted by a pro you can't see it from more than a foot away.
