Today has been a dental day. First thing this morning I went to the dentist for my six month check up and my quarterly hygienist check up. Everything good. This afternoon I had to go to a specialist implant centre to have the first phase of a tooth implant done. Four injections in my gum and roof of my mouth, one cut in my gum, four drills (increasing in size) to form a guide hole into my jaw, one bolt screwed into said guide hole, six stitches in my gum and phase one is complete. And my mouth hurts. As does my wallet.
50 mile round trip to meet the Ducati Owners club. There was nobody there, hmmmm. Still, I had a fab blast down the M4 and back. I really loved the snarled up traffic that meant I got to filter for 5 miles.
Apparently not. Seems just a bit eager to not hang around waiting. I saw a Multistrada and a sports bike (?) go past and followed, thinking they knew another meeting location. Ended back at the motorway so sprawled the tank to reduce drag while blasting it home again. Next meet up I’ll wait longer. Epic fail on today’s patience lesson....
