@Exige, true ? https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Ducati-999-RS-replica/133017552723?hash=item1ef876c753:g:O-4AAOSw~9RcnpPX Andy
According to the wording, this bike, https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Factory-...663569?hash=item3fbfac0d91:g:DZEAAOSwsixcq3bJ, has a 996 engine built by John Hackett. So it’s not a 955RS then, is it ? Andy
Admittedly it has lots & lots of extra bits - anyone on here? https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/153444452484?ul_noapp=true
748R money for a 20,000 mile BP ? Nah, especially as it doesn’t have the original parts that have been replaced. It would be expensive at half the asking price. Andy
Yep, this one's still available for not much more https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/312537776397?ul_noapp=true or this one https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/DUCATI-748-R-SPORTS/264265366766?hash=item3d87717cee:g:Zt4AAOSw2EJcoqKv
Would have to ask Pro Twins I guess - looks like extra bits welded in to a standard frame for the top tubes, they are in the wrong place and wrong angle - but yes, it’s a ‘replica’ of sorts...
https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Ducati-9...m1ef876c753:g:O-4AAOSw~9RcnpPX&frcectupt=true I want the chain adjusters off that...not interested in the bike meh.
999rs replica would make sense as a track bike...not even sure why they bothered with daytime MOT. Connecting 2 pieces of vibrating metal with a plastic peice takes a very optimistic approach I bet after 1 hour ride the gap around the plate mounting bolts would increase by couple of mm.
