British Indy: What Happens Now?

?
  1. Full Brexit with "no EU deal" on the 29th March.

  2. Request Extension to article 50 to allow a general election and new negotiations.

  3. Request Extension to article 50 to allow cross party talks and a new deal to be put to EU.

  4. Request Extension to article 50 to allow a second referendum on 1. Remain in EU or 2. Full Brexit.

  5. Table a motion in parliament to Remain in EU WITHOUT a referendum.

  6. I don't know or I don't care anymore

Results are only viewable after voting.
  1. Very Wise, but not all the time :yum

  4. This is as always from you, incorrect. We haven't left yet because the remainers in parliament still have not found a way to sell what level of remain we want as they try and sell it to us as leave. Mays deal has always been the eu's deal and that is why those mp's who understand the word leave are opposed to it

Remainers desperately hold onto the graphical results for a non graphical referendum. It was a U.K. wide referendum, all who entered into that voting booth knew that.

Another remainer trope. Honestly, before the vote I doubt most would have worried about it but since the vote, most respect that N.I. should not be isolated for the convenience of europe.

Another remainer trope, "i am the honest thought out we need to understand" is often followed by asking the majority democratic peoples majority vote they must bend in a way no remainer minority has or will.

If mp's are unable to understand what the people want then they simply just go back to the vote for their clear direction, instead of the remainers trying to wipe it out and create a new direction for themselves and europe.

  9. FOR THE FIFTIETH TIME —-

    WE VOTED TO LEAVE

    WE SHOULD HAVE LEFT

just because we voted to leave doesn’t mean the world is going to roll over and give us what we want, does it?

The EU will not treat the Irish border any differently from the Calais : Dover border or the Norway : Sweden border. They are all the same. They are all an EU to non EU border. It’s the UKs problem it has the Anglo Irish agreement to deal with. The whole problem with Ireland is the UKs fault, going back centuries. But that’s what happens when you invade someone else’s country.

Only those people who think that there is something special about Britain and that it is entitled to be treated differently believe that the EU is compelled to treat the U.K. better than everyone else. You can believe it, but it won’t happen. The German car industry has a vested interest in maintaining the single market as it has manufacturing plants all over Europe, especially VW, which manufactures at least in Germany, France, Czechia, Spain. US, yes US, paying 5% more is our problem not theirs. They are going to lose market share to who? Jaguar LandRover? Who now build cars in.....:::Czechia——ooops the same 5%

  10. Yeah, like people on the mainland have always cared about Northern Ireland

    Give me strength.

Let’s just leave and get it done quick.

    This situation is ridiculous

And finally, when’s the court case for U.K. Gov breaking the law and us not leaving on 29/3? You say we haven’t left yet but............Court case pending, could well say otherwise

  11. On a daily basis, probably the same amount as N.I. people have thought of England or the Welsh thought of the Scots or the Scots thinking of the Welsh.

In regards to a national vote where it is abundantly clear that the eu and the republic are using N.I. to try and stop brexit by separating us, then yes many are concerned.

There is no but, I said we haven't left yet, we haven't

    Would be nice wouldn't it

  12. Your argument is flawed and hence futile :bucktooth:

  15. theres a reason I can separate Scotland from rUK unlike you can with York and England. its called devolution. a solution 100 years in the making and incredibly popular up here. we would achieve devo max tomorrow with no campaign and without raising a sweat. it allows us to do things differently. we have been v, successfully at doing things differently. Brexit is not compatible with Devolution. the issues are not for another day.
    .
interesting CV btw. I didn't see earning less than 30k.
I didn't see you say, your qualified to fill out work visas and settled status application forms. I suspect that was a P.A and compony lawyers reasonability.
I didn't see trade delegate, I suspect it was costing, assembling and overseeing production. maybe I'm wrong.
I certainly didn't see your name on any electoral roll or ballot paper I have put a cross to.
and as far as I can tell there's nobody from the diplomatic service on here.
so, for as long as the word "democracy" is getting banded about, I will expect my politicians and gov to act democratically and within the law. and so far they have. again, its hardly my fault if you guys don't understand, or more likely dont except, the democratic intuitions and contracts that make up the UK, or laws (Scots and English) that underpin it. my sovereignty is being hollowed out without my or my government's permission or consultation.

  16. Wha!!! o_O ……………………………………………………………………….........................me surely?

  17. Your government is the u.k. government, your devolved government is the snp led devolved government, it's a tiered system that even the scottish politicians understood when the devolved governments were created. your pretense of "wait, what how did that happen?" is fooling no one, the standards were democratically agreed.

2014..people of scotland vote to stay in the U.K. scottish government refuses to accept the result
2016..people of the U.K. vote in a u.k. wide referendum, the scottish government refuses to accept the result
2016..powers given to the eu by the U.K. snp government claims it is a power grab but won't ask the eu for those powers when they have them
2017..people of scotland voted in the general election where the snp tried again to bring in indi 2, the people of scotland kicked out a third of snp mp's

at what point do you think the scottish parliament are in favour of democracy?

  18. The irony in this statement reaches heights I never thought possible!!!haha

  19. Labour = useless

    But it’s not their fault.

They lost the election so not up to them to deliver Brexit. “The people” voted for the Tories to deliver Brexit
