No a lot more than that, but a fair price I think given all the stuff that it’s been lavished with

 

A 748E, basic model, but something smells. Glossy, post image pics, no reserve and a dodgy description. Perhaps this one's not been stolen yet?

Just before he withdrew I think the bids were up to 8300, but I still paid more than that anyway. Can’t wait to get out on it only even had tamburini ducs so looking forward to trying a modern ish one

Mmmm, 2000MY 748R should come with Showa forks and rear shock, not an Ohlins rear shock. The label on the rear shock in the listing photographs looks seriously wrong. For me, the service history is too patchy to be marketed as a ‘collector’ but hey, that’s me. As far as I’m aware, a 2000MY 748R hasn’t made that sort of asking price either. A 2001MY Ohlins model in yellow might make it. Andy
