  2. Yep, and The Belle Stars had "The Clap Clap Song", and Survivor had "Burning Heart", and Musical Youth had "16 (with a bullet)" (amongst others).

  10. Well - actually........I thought 'One Hit Wonders' were clearly a one off hit by some person or band who were never heard of again, but looking at the topic from start to finish, obviously not...

    ......and how to define a hit? In the charts? In the top 10? ....."A one-hit wonder is a person or act known mainly for only a single success"....so seeing as how many in the topic went on to produce successful albums, they hardly comply.

    Plus, taking Nazareth for example.....I haven't got a clue if My White Bicycle was a hit or not.....and how many people heard of J.Geils let alone the hits?....Centrefold was fairly hefty, but I think the lesser known one was actually a greater hit (I can't be ar*ed to go and check).....

    So if you wanna be picky, I reckon you can go and strip out over half in the topic........or snap your plectrum :wink:
