Yep, and The Belle Stars had "The Clap Clap Song", and Survivor had "Burning Heart", and Musical Youth had "16 (with a bullet)" (amongst others).
Have we done Sparks and 'This town ain't big enough..........'? And Golden Earring....'Radar Love' And Nazareth.......'Bad Bad Boy' and 'My white bicycle' And Stealers Wheels......'Clowns to the left, Jokers to the right' And one of my favourites.... J.Geils Band......'First I look at the purse' and 'Centrefold' AL
Well - actually........I thought 'One Hit Wonders' were clearly a one off hit by some person or band who were never heard of again, but looking at the topic from start to finish, obviously not... ......and how to define a hit? In the charts? In the top 10? ....."A one-hit wonder is a person or act known mainly for only a single success"....so seeing as how many in the topic went on to produce successful albums, they hardly comply. Plus, taking Nazareth for example.....I haven't got a clue if My White Bicycle was a hit or not.....and how many people heard of J.Geils let alone the hits?....Centrefold was fairly hefty, but I think the lesser known one was actually a greater hit (I can't be ar*ed to go and check)..... So if you wanna be picky, I reckon you can go and strip out over half in the topic........or snap your plectrum  AL
