We’re cheating and doing it in the campervan this week, we live in derby so it’s a day there and a day back. Starting at Inverness and going clockwise, some campsites and some wild camping.
Did the NC500 few years ago. Loved it. Weather changeable and stayed at some top hotels/B&B’s. The overnight at top of Loch Goil being one of the best.
Short ride today from Thurso to Tongue with plenty of stop offs on some absolutely stunning beaches, weather has been epic
Only a “wee” stop and grabbed a couple of photos, would like to have seen more but we’ve got too much kit to carry off the bike and added to that the unseasonably warm weather (not complaining though) and wearing Rukka textiles it’s a little too much to go for a hike
Bealach Na Ba today on the way to Skye, weather was perfect some serious scenery and some decent roads thrown in to the mix too, cocktails and dinner at Skeabost House Hotel tonight and heading to Loch Lomond tomorrow
