  1. Erm....been a while...press and hold MODE button and should come up I think...will work up to about 12mph

  2. I fitted P5's to my Multi DVT last year. Fast or slow, wet or dry, no problems.

  3. I too struggled for many months with this yet it is really simple when you know how.

  4. Oh I get it on the screen ok, and can cycle down to it, but it won’t stay put, it’s like I can’t save the setting, I will have a go with it in the garage yet again, ideally I want it two helmets mode ALL the time.

  5. Press and hold the bottom part of the left hand switch of 3 seconds this takes you into a different menu to the one you have been trying to access. Then it will work.

  7. Just spent 10 mins trying gain, in both Touring and sport modes I can change the front and rear settings to hardest, to the two helmet symbol, then ensure the memorised bit goes green, then exit out and when you turn it back on again single helmet mode is back.

This is the only thing I hate about this bike, way to complicated, if I still have this aggravation by September I shall purchase a base 1260 if it has no Skyhook as I reckon it’s rubbish.

  8. There you go, poxy manual does not say that, but it works, two helmets permanently, now I can adjust the stuff I just set to hardest.

    Top man.

  9. One is full settings menu, one is just preload setting that can be done on the move. I found useful if with luggage for use around town to lower seat, then up again when out of town

  10. Btw over complicated is way better than no choices. Try a XR: hardly any rider adjustment at all

  11. Aaaaaaand........................................................breath :)

  12. Probably caused by any or a combination of below.
    -suspension setup
    -luggage
    -rider position on the bike
    -road camber
    -side wind
Cannot see how a tyre will cause high speed wobble on its own?

  13. Neither can I, now I have the knowledge to change stuff I shall experiment. Rarely to I have the panniers on, often the top box. Tried all sorts but now I can play.

  14. Top box will create a weave on its own. Bear in mind it’s rated at something like 120kmh max (?) with luggage, so over that expect something to happen...

  15. I haven’t changed them yet and not made up my mind on what to go for.
    I’ll post when I do.

  16. I found the Metzeler M7RR an awesome tyre on my Multistrada, dry and wet. Downside was 3000 miles absolute tops and usually less. Andy

  17. It ain't the tyres. Mine did it with scorpions. Why do you think the 1260 has a damper. A lot of people complained of hard acceleration wag. They listened & now they have damper. A lot on us forum have fitted damper & they look ok. Bit expensive though..

  18. They have a damper, really? Mine must be missing! Thought it was only the Enduro with a steering damper!

  19. Sorry I stand corrected. Thought the 1260s came standard.

  20. :upyeah:, I always felt that the 1200 DVT needed one but less so with the 1260.
