Yes true.I will be keeping an eye on further comments and will help where I can.Just had enough of it all to be honest!!
Sad to see they igonored your emails/letter for couple of weeks. Had a read through pages 5 and 6...what a mess. I start to believe the gov grant was the only thing keeping them afloat...
Check out the interest free loans with no fixed repayment time limit made to various companies that SJG is a director and shareholder of listed towards the end of the report.
That’s right, read through the lot, pulling funds from his other interests to shore up Norton hasn’t worked!!
Was in Lincoln last night at a McGuinness thing... a few quips and comments lead me to believe John is also keeping one foot on terra firma. I believe the Aprilia motor is getting another leg-stretch.
Having read through the accounts that is harrowing reading boys. A genuine Nightmare on Elm St. The company needs a deep pocket, benevolent, investor pronto. If I had a deposit on a bike I would either a) be asking for an immediate refund or b) insisting it was kept in a separate client escrow account controlled by an impartial 3rd party e.g their auditors. It is shocking and so sad. The one pin prick of light is that those accounts reflect the situation 12 months ago and the company, on the face of it, appears to still be here and trading. Fingers crossed.
He's worth at least a couple of Stephen Frys. National treasure that one. I'm from East Yorkshire (well, Humberside I suppose really) originally but am now on the West Lindsey bin round, and far happier for it. Next stop, Caithness.
I am just outside Lincoln and in the process of opening a new motorcycle service/performance centre which should be opening in May!
No,that is a cycle shop expanding into motorcycle clothing. We are covering Dyno work, suspension servicing and upgrades(k-tech),general servicing, mot and renovation work!!
Aha! Now that sounds like something worth exploring! Don't be afraid to spam me on that, I've a couple of bikes I'd love a professional suspension setup on and over and above regular Ducati dealer work I'd value another local specialist being on hand.
Have a look at www.rdmotorcycles.co.uk my mobile number is on there under (Chris) and if you would like to pop down for a chat and a look around not a problem.Bed now as I need to go to the workshop in the morning and prep a hole in the floor for a brake tester.Nice chatting!!
If you have a look at Companies House the accounts have now been filed and you will see perhaps why they have been filed very late. https://beta.companieshouse.gov.uk/company/06718623
