  1. I have one of these magnetic bags I occasionally use (Givi T409)

  2. I’d like to see one fitted in the flesh. I’m not convinced I’d get a givi tool roll in and out

  3. Where on a multi would a magnetic bag stick?

  4. Well you can get a Kriega one in and out... YMMV though, depends how many tools you carry I guess. It's a box with a finite volume. If you're over this way you're welcome to have a nosy. :)

  5. If the tank is metal then it’ll stick. I’m guessing you’re telling me it’s not?

  6. Also IME... when the electrics decide to grenade themselves, a pair of pliers won't help. So you're going to need a laptop, some leads... software, and umbrella...

  8. More plastic than a plastic thing...
It’s a plastic tank with a painted plastic cover.. there’s not a magnet on the planet that’ll stick to it ;)

  10. Most installations I’ve seen use the locking ring around the filler cap
Baglux do a cover for it as well but the tank bag range that fits is limited

  11. I fitted the 37L panniers and the 58L top box. Has anyone else had problems with leaking? The top box is fine, but both side cases leaked after 30 minutes standing in the rain.

I'll probably silicone them as it's too much faff to send them back to the vendor in Italy. Other than that my only regret is I didn't go for the 48L ones.

  12. My 48's don't leak. Where is the water ingressing on yours?

  13. No idea yet. Haven't had a chance to test them with a hose.

  14. Both my 48's leak slightly, but then after my BM panniers leaked I always have waterproof inner liners so it doesnt worry me, I may invest some time trying to see where its getting in but its such a small amount...

  15. My 37s are bone dry even in torrential rain.

  16. I have a 2017 DVT and was surprised by few pannier options are available. I have some Givi panniers from a previous bike and was hoping to buy some frames to put the on the Multi. I have the manual suspension adjuster on mine. They only seem to make the rack for the tin boxes and not the monkey type. Can the adventure rack shown be modified to take them?

  17. Dunno but the tin boxes are mega. Super secure and practical. Still getting 61mpg two up and laden and one up and laden it doesn’t weave until about 125mph with top boxes and crates on.

  20. Nope. That was last week, admittedly pottering at @ 110kph and temp @ 30c. Was really happy.

    Does @ 45mpg @ 80mph with temp @ 17c as I learned coming back from Plymouth.
