Weather was shit anyway. So you dint miss out. I rode to Maccie D's in Earlswood on Sunday, just for a burger. I was too lazy to make something at home, yet not lazy enough to put leathers on and nip out for a couple of burgers.
Great bike the R - bloody love mine. Just put a healtech quickshiftrr on my 1200R and it’s great Also I would suggest evotech rad and head guards cos they take a pasting with road debris I’ve got the termi and never tried the baffles in but might as it sets off car alarms probably pisses the neighbours off..
Just a heads up to put the three sizes of allen keys in your bikes tool kit ,then if your out and about and say your mirror comes loose in the middle of nowhere (happened to me last weekend) you can sort it out .
Until i am down with my bike again i cant say, just do as i did and try them for size, I think the mirror is 6mm .
Once i realised that you could adjust the glass separately to the arm i find the standard mirrors ok,and i think the standard mirrors look better than bar end types .
I'm coming from an 848 where i had to flap my arms out like a chicken to see behind me.. the Monster mirrors are lovely (in comparison)
if either of you guys are passing "Fixings & Powertools" in Salfords, pop in for a coffee and make me jealous with your bikes, I have the marble yard behind fixings
Hahaha you made marble surfaces to replace my window ledge in my bathroom and the surfaces above my toilet cistern. Dave Gunter ring a bell? He did the work and bought it for me. I’m supposed to have bought another piece from you several years ago now but cos I’m a lazy shit I never got round to it. Will definitely have to pop round abs buy it now
Im in Caterham. Ive been to F&P in Salfords for some stuff several times before, pretty sure I bought my dewalt cordless there way back.
hehe small world huh Coffee is always brewing guys, always welcome, always happy (desperate) to talk about bikes
