Has anyone found a set of replacement grips that replicate the throttle side where a part of the rubber grip fits over the plastic disc of the throttle control ? My grips are wearing out (30K), but you cant buy the OEM grips for the throttle side, you have to buy a brand new throttle with everything attached. RBW.
I have a couple of sets of new standard grips, if you use pro grips etc but they wont last long, drop me a pm if your interested and I will see if I can find them.
Many thanks to @simmytt for sending me a pair of as new OEM grips for a very small nominal fee. Weirdly you can only purchase the left hand grip as a part on its own from Ducati, the right hand grip comes with the throttle control at the princely sum of £220 . https://www.bike-parts-ducati.com/d.../HALF-HANDLEBARS--SHOCK-ADSORBER/108/30/0/108 The right hand throttle grip has a space for the plastic disc from the throttle control to recess into, and I haven't seen an aftermarket pair that do this. I did purchase some Oxford heated grips but didn't fit them because of this (I'm sure any aftermarket grips will still work fine, but I just didn't like the compromise). Great result RBW.
