  2. It's blowing a gale and pouring with rain.First job of the day was to remove spider lurking in the bathroom on top of wifes shampoo bottle.Thought it best to put the poor thing in the airing cupboard,be cruel to put it out.Didn't tell wife where it went,best not.
    Now waiting to see if my parcel from M and P will come today.Must say there delivery is a bit slow.
    Still raining.

  3. Ordered a few Pantah bits I need, which I found on EBay: one 74mm piston, a stack of clutch plates, a flywheel. Still a few more things to source.

  8. I went mooching round bike shops cos the weather forecast said it was going to rain. Wankers. It hasn't. And it's been nice. And I didn't go out on the bike because the wankers couldn't forecast a bloody thing.

    Tomorrow its supposed to snow so I suppose I won't get out then either :rolleyes:

  10. Bought a honeysuckle for a hole in my hedge which I'll plant tomorrow, weather permitting. Garden centre will only have the hawthorn in next week.
    Saw my first bramblings today under the bird feeder and then my first hawfinch in the same place. Top bird day!

  13. Well, today I have driven to Newhaven, via Goose Green... Photographed some penguins... Then driven back to Mount Pleasant, via Darwin... About 100 miles, all on gravel tracks... Nice way to spend a sunny Saturday afternoon... :)

  17. They had a few R's in and I was tempted when I was thinking about one but I love the colour scheme and when it came to the crunch I had to ask myself if the extra for the R would I exploit it anymore and it was a simple no so bought the colour I wanted
