V4 Clutch And Brake Lever Choices

  1. I like to have a set of spare levers in the bag that I take with me on track days and as the spare 1098R levers I already have don't fit the V4 master cylinders, I asked the question today when I was in MR collecting the bike. I have the Rizoma by Ducati folding levers fitted as standard but I didn't want to spunk another arm or a leg on what is actually bling. Ended up buying a now discontinued Panigale Racing Set which some dealers may still have in stock. Part number is 96880011B and having decided to fit them tonight, they have soooooo much more feel than the Rizomas and they look good too. Also saw the R&G lock stop savers which whilst very utilitarian, I decided are a must have. Does mean the steering lock won't engage though. Andy

  3. I run the same levers on mine.... Mega feel and quality! I had the choice of the Rizomo ones and opted for the Ducati items..... glad I did now. More than happy

Your Ducati Performance ones are the same as the TWR ones.

  5. TWM make all the Ducati Performance stuff, they are my go to lever supplier for several years. I wonder who makes the Rizoma ones? The brakes are the uber strong point on the ducati so you really need to stick with the best. Cheaper levers are terrible on a bike with what should be amazing brakes and really noticeable.

  10. Yup, replaced the OE levers on my V4S with a pair those. They're excellent quality. Paid 100 quid for them- Result.

  11. That'll be fun. Who's that with? FE?

I see the weather down there's finally picked up. It's been pretty shiiiite the last couple of weeks. My mate was down there for 5 days and it rained on and off for 4 of them. What a pisser! (no pun intended)

  12. Our usual crowd, BBS Eurotracks, 40 riders total on the trip and about 7 hours track time a day. Been following the weather and yes, hopefully it’s picking up. Currently looking like it will be mostly sunny and low to mid 20s. Andy

  13. Perfect....

  14. I can vouch for these levers too.... BDS have there own brand name on them...Equally as good as the rest including the Ducati performance stuff.... Rizomo is just so over priced like a lot of premium badge gear! I blame all them people buying Them tacky brake reservoir pots.... Man I hate them things with a passion!!!! Why would you do that??
