Ok know this bit odd one but it started as a chat ended up as a bet and ego trip. Anyone knows any good/famous restaurants (not fast food joints), comedy clubs or places to go out in the evening near Harlesden railway station, lets say 3m radius around it? Forgot to add the closer the better. Much obliged for serious responses.
i hear you can park on the pavement outside the station there quite well.....though obviously it wasn't you
Junction Arms might be worth a look, live music. Grand Junction Arms - Canal Bridge, Acton Lane, Park Royal, London. NW10 7AD - , Sports Bar, Beer Garden, Function Room/Private Hire/Venue Hire, Traditional Pub, Corporate Hire, Event Hire, Party Hire, Wedding Venue/Wedding Receptions, Wedding Ceremo
Ladbroke Grove is 2.9miles from harlesden, according to the unreliable Google Maps App. There's loads of decent places to eat/drink around there, dunno if any venues play Hardcore Euro Glitch though, you might have to look further afield if you want to get your Techno Viking on...
I know that already but it is part of the deal of put your money where your mouth is. Been there, done that, do it 3 times a week in another part of London. Ace is a bit of low maybe due to access restrictions (if I am going for dinner/beer you bet I get pissed) but not a no. Well no, bet is at work and stadium/arena is 20 meter's away. Well it is a bet. Few people at work, that recently moved to area, say except to get pissed or fast food there is no where to go in Harlesden or even Wembley. I said no there has to, argument, bet plus I hate being wrong so need to find few examples.
Time out is actually quite shit. It might have lots of venues but not all, not small gems and almost 0 mining full description of place. I know use it every day at work as all you tourist lot believe it is good You pay you on timeout list.
im sure theres a good brazilian place around there but the name escapes me always had a soft spot for the benfica restaurant in kensel green too
There's a Brazillian Rodizio called Amber Grill near the junction of Tubbs Lane and Station Road. Usual deal, eat as much as you like. That little area is actually a Brazillian community so with a bit of research you could find the best Rodizio in Harlesden and you'd be onto a winner.
Thx guys few suggestions to check out before I go, do in your face and take all the credit Keep am coming. O crap Gav is out summer must be looming?!
