Booking next years big trip with Kuoni, West Oz (14 days fly drive), Fiji (5 days), Hawaii (5 days) then San Francisco (always our favorite)... then home..... 28 days of pure heaven on earth. May just do either Fiji or Hawaii... not sure.... Anyway another trip all the way around the globe.... or across the page for you flat earth'ers out there.

Waiting in for the guys to fit a new double roller door to the garage - hopefully less fuss getting the bikes out after today as the original door is an old wooden pair of 'round the corner' sliding doors. Only problem is the don't slide any more after years of neglect (prior owner and my own). So, while waiting, I have rustled up a lamb rogan josh for tonight's dinner. Nice.

First day on track at Almeria and the weather is good if a little windy. The V4 is incredible but as I feared, way too fast for where my ability is. Took the first couple of sessions steady which filled me with confidence and then I started to make silly errors. Thankfully the brakes are up to rescuing me to no excursions. Starting to build again after lunch, so a couple of steady sessions and some tuition. Still another couple of hours this afternoon and 2 more whole days ahead. Andy
Went to WH Smith in Huddersfield today, and there's a 1/3rd off sale on books. I bought a copy of "The Lion, the Witch"
'effin garage door guys turned up at 5:00 pm. Should have been 12:00. They measured the door - bloody surveyor measured wrong - 30cm too short. NOT HAPPY. Going to walk the dog to calm me down. Grrrrrr
