Ok, it's 10 degrees now so I better hit the road!!! First stop petrol!!!! Didn't thi k I'd get this much out of a tank. And yesterday was some of the more spirited riding so far...
Doesn't sound like a lot of miles. It's not!!! Some one said to me at the ace that they aim for 50 miles In an hour and 50 miles per gallon .. I thought, don't be daft, surely you can peel out more miles than that!!! ( and get less mpg) It's harder than it sounds!!! Even with out all my lil stops. In France especially. All the roads I have been on with the exception of very few have a speed limit of 50mph and down to 30 through the many lil villages. Then there is the odd truck and cars here and there that slow ya up.. Don't get me wrong, it's not a chore riding here at all! And there are plenty of places to go slightly over 50! I do try and stick to 30 through the villages though.. That said some are just 2 or 3 houses on a long straight and be for you see em you have breezed through at 50.

I was just about to explain that one! That is the rear end of a plain clothes police woman who was, along with her partner, searching all the bins for something.. I knew she was old bill coz she had an arm band on saying so.. Kinda defeated the purpose of being plain clothes I thought...
