Working on replacing a flat roof..... hopefully get it waterproof before tomorrows afternoon showers.
Forecast is for showers spreading from the north and west to envelop the whole country by this afternoon, you’d better get a shifty on!
Last night I shared my bed with my 4yo grandson and SWMBO slept with our 7yo granddaughter. How a titchy child can commandeer 80% of the bed and wriggle around all night ending up upside down/sideways on/starfish shaped etc is a mystery to me. Needless to say I haven’t slept well at all. So far this morning we’ve been trying to amuse the grandchildren with colouring in and baking cakes. #2 son needs to get his arse here to pick them up! I definitely need more sleep.
Dig a small circular hole somewhere in the garden about 4 inches wide, then with a bit of talc, create a larger circle from the centre of the hole, then supply marbles. Keeps the lil buggers transfixed for ages It's either that or diazapan in their summer fruits drink, I'm 50/50 on my options
As i'm of to the TT tomorrow the wife said have you packed anything yet, no said I, well don't think i'm doing it said her, so off I go putting things on the bed checking all I need is there and in she pops, your not taking that come out of the way I'll do it!! result. I must check though when she's not looking, last time I went away on my own and she packed I had no spare socks or under pants. Steve

Finished sorting out in the garden, barn at bottom of drive fell over in the wind so seemed shame to just let the wood get burnt. Picked up some furniture on eBay and a fire pit today ( bigger than it looked in the pics ) stones from Wickes, but looks ok for £400 all in as was all brambles before
