Was thinking that but I'd rather it was "right" if it can be. If they can be pulled I can get some double shoulder:
Washers would be absolutely fine. You’d only need 2 per position. Cost pennies rather than 20 quid. I have one per bolt on my track 749R to space them out a tad. Works fine and they can’t even be seen.
Spacer size will depend on disc size. I've nasty feeling the discs need to be 310mm then I need to build the calipers out 2mm. If they are 300mm then I'll need larger discs or have to remove 5mm from forks or calipers by machining the metal off. Going to 320mm would make getting calipers of off the discs a right pain wouldn't it? Will know more Saturday when they turn up. I'll have a walk around the paddock tomorrow too and see of anyone else has that setup.
Even if the thickness of washers turns out to be greater than the length of the shoulder on the calipers?
I assumed that you were going to file the shoulders off as they aren’t 100% required if you set the brake position like I mentioned earlier.
Next Q: What length build out would you start to want longer bolts? I'm assuming 5mm would be OK but adding a 7.5mm spacer would be best to buy longer bolts?
Ideally leaving these discs and just adding R1 gold spot and will need to change the master to a 17. Do those discs look 310mm?
exactly! Why not clarify exactly what set up or combination you are looking to achieve then you can possibly get a definitive answer. based on what limited info is there, 1. Why not get 4 spacers made with the ID to fit over the protruding section on the calliper made to the height that fits your disc, if they are the callipers you are going to use? 2. Even use flat washers and file out the centre to fit over the protruding section if you are happy with that. 3. file off the protruding sections if your calliper mounts dont have the recess but you still have to make spacers, but got to be simpler to do @1.
