Further to my earlier post I was transfered from Sedan to Reims University Hospital by ambulance on Tuesday afternoon as they'd run out of options on my diagnosis. Plenty of IV antibiotics and I'm feeling considerably better, the Stinking cold is also on the wane. MRI scan tomorrow with possible medical repatriation next week at some point. If I continue to improve at this rate I'm hoping they'll discharge me into my own care with a fistfull of oral antibiotics instead.
Fingers crossed you continue to improve without further complication. I used to work in Reims and there are a lot worse places to get discharged in. Good luck. Andy

I am, I carried on a bit further before I could find somewhere half decent to stop. I am now about 130 k’s from Bologna. Currently eating Tarali and pesto Siciliano, waiting on a cup on liquorice tea whilst listening to some tunes with the roof up. I have cheated and brought the bike in the T5, ha ha!
