H-G UK ( ie the shops ) went into administration. Most of the shops were just shut down, one or two were bought out by other retailers. H-G Germany, the parent company, is still very much in existence, and sells on-line. Shame the shops shut IMO, their kit was always good : a bit more expensive than most, but also a good deal better than most... But, like I said, most of their stuff is still available on t'internet...
