I never knew that he was banging Kelly brook for years at the start of her fame. Had him down as more Elton John than Donald Trump. Lucky fella
He was also a diver inthe British Commonwealth games team in 1990. So you could be forgiven for having him down as a bit Tom Daley.
Nahhh. It leans then, the front wheel turns very little at speed - centripetal force and all that. Just imagine, you're doing your bike test and it's the walking pace go round in a circle thingy. How does that work?
There are many systems that work on a hub centre steering design, many well proven, I imagine they are as stable as a traditional set up at slow speeds https://motochassis.com/Articles/Steer/STEER.htm
I don't dispute it works, I'm just struggling to get my head around it. Probably its too late at night. Thanks for the reading material
Tony Foale is a top chap - went on the razz in London with him in 1985 when we both had bikes on the Superbike Magazine stand at the National Motorcycle Exhibition https://motochassis.com/

After just missing out on the bargain of the year yesterday, I've been looking around for a 999. I'm thinking about going to take a look at this at the weekend https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/ducati-9...rentrq:23e6040d16b0aad50bd9e945fffcf2f2|iid:1 Even with my limited knowledge of these bikes, some things about it don't quite look right. What do you guys think? I am not necessarily looking for a minter and I'm not that fussed about originality, as long as it's honest. Paul
Hard from this distance but it has standard fairing with no S logo - needs checking carefully to see if it is a genuine S Mono
That's the first thing I noticed. The ad also states it's a 2005 model, should it not have the later nose fairing and red frame?
Very cheap & coachworks in fast yellow https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Ducati-7...979792?hash=item1cd24769d0:g:Fn0AAOSw~8lc8C4C
Spoke to the seller today, he sounded genuine and confirms that the V5 says 999s mono registered 2005. I guess it could be a 2004MY not registered until 2005? All academic now anyway, he sold it for 5800 before I could get a look.
