If you can trust bbc weather, it's not looking dry tomorrow, quite the opposite https://www.bbc.co.uk/weather/6296610
Leaving on the evening ferry back to Heysham tomorrow So hope to see bit more action before we check in. As for the should it be banned question that comes up every year. I have not heard one widow of any of the riders state that it should be banned. They and other immediate family are those whom are directly affected by the loss. Not us. There is a high price to be paid on the island if you get it wrong or something outwith your control goes wrong of course, however with that said there does not appear to be any shortage of riders wanting to take part. Let’s leave the Nanny state to other areas of life and celebrate one of the last bastions of free choice.
I was sitting at Sulby Bridge this morning and the bloody heavens opened. Supersport race cancelled till tomorrow, hopefully Lightweights out this evening. It’s been a poor week weather wise and I go back tomorrow but I’ll be back next year. I’m looking forward to it already.
Rain in the Ramsey area put paid to any action today on the TT course! Plan is for 5 races tomorrow all for a reduced number of laps except the zeros which only do 1 and should be canned to give us more real racing to watch. Sidecar 2 has been brought forward from friday as the forecast for pm fri is poor!
no one asked that, I dont think, its just as you get older, with kids it seems pretty selfish to do it, would your wife and kids let you do it?
Cracking senior race run over the full six lap distance. Some amazing racing overshadowed by the death of DM. I’ve listened to most of the races and practice on the Manx Radio who have done a brilliant job. They did an interview with Glen Irwin today and he recons he’ll be there racing next year. Good luck with that one. Radio app deleted from my phone until next year......
