No, that's some bloke washing it down the road from tyre shop ( they said go away for an hour as no delivery yet) and some random guy trying to work out what sort of bike it is!!!
Anyhu... I got the bike cleaned and went back to to shop... No tyres .. go for a walk and come back at 12 they said... The shut at 12 for 2.5 hours so if it ain't done by then I might as well not set off today... That means missing @The Royal Maharaja for a ride out Thursday and possibly my boat next Tuesday.. Spoke to Brittany ferries and the best they can do is get me on the 18th... Which would mean another week out here.. I've tried ringing my boss but he is busy... Can't really afford another week here but also don't want to ride like a mad man to get to the boat, but I need to make my mind up as that booking will be full soon... No pressure.... Right, beter walk back to the shop and hope it is sorted!!!!

Just wash everything you use every night I’ve always done it, it’ll dry easy where you are, two minute job hand wash it before bed and hang em all up dry in the morning if not wrap your undies around the exhaust pipe connect with a peg you’ll look ace.

I've made it to nice... Punched it into the sat nav and it said 220 miles and 11 hours!!! I thought, that can't be right . So I went to settings and took off avoid motorways. . Still 11 hours... Wtf ? So I set off and after an hour of lights and roundabouts following the beach, I had done 20 miles! So I checked the nav again.. I had to take off avoid tolls. 180 miles and 3 hours... Ok. Turns out the a12 and a10 are actually really good... stunning views and lots of elevation changes and tunnels and still follows the coast albeit from a few miles back so quite bendy as well.. Paid the first toll of €18 after about 60 miles. Then there was another a few miles later... I mistakenly followed another bike through some telesomething lane and didn't get a ticket.. so I stopped and looked for someone to sort it out, no dice... Anyhu, 100 miles later, a few miles from the French border comes the other end of the toll . So I stop to the side, look for a quiet manned booth (or womaned as it turned out) and went to see what could be done . She spoke no English at all and started yelling at me non stop some bloke came over who also spoke no English and joined in with the yelling.. After a few minutes I'd had enough, put my lid back on and rode around their stupid barrier... I was kinda expecting the police that were a few hundred meters up the road to stop me but nothing.. 5 mins later I was in France.. No pics to show as there was no where to stop on the motorway that had a good view... Now I'm at a hotel that looked really good but is a shit hole.. But more of that later as I'm too grumpy to talk about it...

I've been to nice before and stayed right by the beach so this time I thought I'd stay a few miles out where it's quite and probably beter value for money.. Thought I'd pay a lil more than usual so spent €130 for a 4 star with a pool and nice looking grounds.. Mistake... all I can hear is road noise, the staff are fucken rude and there is no beer on tap... It will be back on in the next few days... The king sized be is 2 singles pushed together and it's another of those places where ya electric Don't work with out ya room key so no leaving anything to charge will ya out and about.. what is with that?
