  1. It's like RHD and LHD. Once you're used to both you don't even think about it.

  2. 1199 & 899 use the same kit, as do the 959/ 1299.

  3. Ill see how I get on with it tuesday, if Im sold then ill have both road and track bikes in GP shift. I do feel some times when hanging off and coming out the corner "christ sake could do with not having to extend my foot to change up" so I reckon I'll get on with it.

  4. If you can do it, there's no turning back.
    My 1198RS race bike has it but haven't been able to sort my Cafe Racer yet

  9. IMG_20190603_115817.jpg She'll fix, shes a race bike!

    Rad burst blowing 12psi fluid onto the front tyre.

    Looks like the front tyre was rubbing on the rad, so best sort that for the replacement rad.

    Now everyone, go check your rad for rubbing!!

  10. I really struggled switching to race shift, especially when i got the red mist and started chasing after someone rather than thinking about it.

    @graeme4130 suggested last week:
    when sat up go up (breaking)
    When you are down go down (accelerating)

    Worked a treat for me.

    I still always end up in 6th pulling into the garages though :-/

  11. Yeah that's sounds a good way off doing it. Big bit off tape on the tank with a jonny age 5 sketch should help as well lol. Reckon by end of sighting I should be alright.

  12. It’s much better especially on track, both my race bike and track bike are race shift and if I could be bothered I’d change the road bike as well but it’s easy enough to remember

  13. Ha, finally got a 1971 250 Mk III race bike, just like the one I bought in a box for 45 quid in 1977. Right side change, road pattern, what could possible go wrong at my first race at Donington in August?
