Well I was with a potential client and he said he was so excited about what I was telling/selling him that he had to call his friend (and potential investor) to tell him all about it. And it was as he showed me who it was on FaceTime that I realised who it was!
Went to collect a part/price for cambelt changeover from the car/van dealer in crawley but nobody home on the desk at 1.30 todaypurchased three lamp shades for the nearly completed project one,and a couple of happy/proud swans with their cygnets in tandridge.
I annoyed SpecSavers staff in Huddersfield today by wandering up to their counter whilst squinting my eyes and pretending to be looking at them. When they asked "Can help you?" I said, "Big Mac meal please - with a large Coke"
Ha, there's plenty of weeds there, the buggers grow so quickly. I ended up spending 4hrs getting rid of them from 3 beds and then cut the lawn. Could have gone out on the bike as well but the fecking grass grows so quickly here. Our one and only peony for @Davebird
Spent most of the morning stripping the zed after its TT trip for a good clean...picked up a sheared bolt in the mudguard which will take a bit more investigaton....took some more bits down to the cerkoting guy for refurb.... Had to go to a house party (just got back) - the wife works for her...while i know im getting old (50 next month), ive totally lost the ability to talk to assholes....party was full of fucking hipsters (beards and waistcoats everywhere) - managed to make it out after 40 mins. One bloke started to talk to me (had my leather alpine stars jacket on)....then proceeded to tell me about his fucking vespa collection and the fact that he sold his zx12...and made a point of saying it was the "full power version" whatever that means....the only people i did know were our neighbours a few doors down but he fucking ignored me anyway which didnt really bother me as he a knob.... Anyway...better day tomorrow starting with an oil change on the Hyper....bliss.
Out and about cutting a overhanging tree branch on the roadside at 5am with 1 x roadworks sign and two cones the local council have been moaning again as hitting their double deckers only two cars came passed me,,,doesn't the uk know how to get out of bed on a sunday morning
